PEDIGREE: Connoisseur’s sire, Consuelo is an imported Holsteiner by the fantastic producer of showjumpers, Corofino I, who was awarded a 10 by the judges at his licensing for his outstanding jumping abilities. Corofino I went on to become internationally very successful under his rider, Valerio Sozzi, winning many tough competitions in fine style. Corrado I was awarded his licensing and started a sky rocketing career as a stud stallion as well as an international competitor under Franke Sloothaak. He won the Aachen Grand Prix, the Frankfurt Grand Prix and the German
Masters in 1994.
Landgraf I was the first Warmblood sire whose progeny turned him into a 6,5 Million DM millionaire, making him one of the most successful sires in the world. Romantiker is the grandson of Ramzes, the outstanding sire that produced sport horses in all the Warmblood Studbooks. Alma-x is a daughter of Seducer xx, a thoroughbred stallion who won the triple crown, i.e. Namibian Showjumping Championship, Namibian Dressage Championship and the Namibian Eventing Championship in the same year.
PERFORMANCE: Connoisseur is a modern sporthorse with a fantastic temperament, very good basic paces and an exceptional jumping technique. Connoisseur has just started competing in 1.50m classes with Nicola Sime-Nel.
PROGENY: Connoisseur’s foals look to have inherited their sire’s great jumping abilities, temperament and good basic movements. The foals all look very
promising.
